Description:
A very meaningful project recreating the former campus of Catholic High School Singapore, located at Queen St & Waterloo St. It was such a pleasure working with a group of passionate alumni who wanted to preserve their school’s rich history through this miniature diorama. The school was established in 1935, and this year marks 90 years of its proud legacy.

Since my first visit to Queen Street in April and a few rounds of meetings and discussions, the whole process has been such a joyful and fulfilling experience. On the day of delivery, when the plastic wrap was finally torn off and the diorama was revealed, everyone gathered around, looking at the work and chatting excitedly about the old days. Watching their faces light up and hearing their stories really touched me deeply. It made me feel so satisfied and proud. In that moment, every bit of effort truly felt worth it. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity!

More than just a replica, this project carries the spirit and memories of a place that once brought people together. I hope it encourages everyone to appreciate their own history and keep its meaning alive.

I'm very honoured to be part of the 90th Anniversary celebration, and to see how the school’s long history has brought so many people together. Special thanks to Mr. George Lee for introducing me to the group, Mr. Leong for leading and connecting everyone throughout the project, Mr. Joseph Sitoh, Mr. Peter Chan, and Mr. Fong, the Vice Principal of Catholic High School, for their tremendous support in every aspect. It’s been a real pleasure meeting everyone!
